Usually we add a chilli to spice up a recipe.
But, today I will show you a recipe madeout of Chilli!
Bharli Mirchi (Stuffed Chilli).
It tastes nice!
Let's begin with the preparation for stuffing mixture.
Let's take a cup of freshly grated coconut.
1 tbsp roasted groundnuts.
Next, some coriander.
And then, half tsp sugar.
4 to 5 garlic cloves and 1/4 inch ginger.
1 tsp red chilli powder.
1/4 tsp turmeric powder..
..and salt to taste.
Finally, 1 tbsp gram flour..
..and half lemon juice
Now, let's grind everything.
Let's check if it's done.
This is done but make sure you avoid adding water and don't grind it to a fine paste
Let's remove the stuffing in a bowl.
We have these chillies, puffy and smallin size, we have to make a slit like this.
Don't remove the stalk. Now, let's fill the stuffing.
Similarly, let's stuff the remaining chillies too.
Chillies have been stuffed, let's switch on the stove.
2 to 3 tbsp of oil for shallow frying.
Let the oil heat for a while.
Oil is hot enough.
And now, splash some water on them.
Cover it with the lid.
Let them steam cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
15 minutes later.
Let's flip the chillies.
Let's wait for 10 minutes.
5 minutes later.
Let's see if they are done.
They are ready, let's switch off the stove..
..and remove them.
You can enjoy Stuffed Chillies as a side dish with dal, steamed rice, buttermilk kadhi, or plain dal and rice too!

Grind everything coarsely. Stuffing is ready. - Remove this stuffing in a bowl. - First slit the green chillies. - Fill the chillies with a spoonful of this stuffing. - In a pan heat some oil. - Once the oil is hot, add the chillies in it. - Rotate the chillies in the pan. Also add very little water. Cover the pan and cook them till you get blisters on all sides of the chillies. - Bharli Mirchi is ready to be served.
